Indian Navy conducts naval exercise with Oman Navy

The Indian Navy deployed a submarine and the P8I long-range maritime aircraft for a bilateral naval exercise with the Omani navy. Indian Naval Ships Trikand and Teg are deployed to Oman for bilateral exercise ‘Naseem Al Bahr’ or ‘Sea Breeze’.The first exercise Indian Navy with Royal Navy of Oman was conducted in 1993 and this year marks 24 years of Indian Navy -Royal Navy of Oman bilateral exercises. Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Western Naval Command Vice Admiral Girish Luthra is visiting Oman from 21 Dec to 25 Dec 17 to witness the ongoing bilateral exercise.
